Modular Synth Patching + Performance 

These lessons are taylor made to fit the specific needs of the student from beginner,  intermediate to advance.

This 4 week course will cover the following topics and techniques:

•  sound design  
•  exploration of specific modules
•  sequencing rhythmic patterns and melodies
•  self-generative
•  constructing a performance patch
•  performing a live set 

ModBap Synth Patching, Sampling + Performance

Modbap is Modular Synthesis and BoomBap 

These lessons are designed to push HipHop production beyond the traditional sampler/computer based style of production.

This course if for the progressive HipHop producer that wants to creatively color outside the lines of repetitive grid based music.

This 4 week course will cover the following topics and techniques:

• sound design from a HipHop perspective
• exploration of specific modules
• sequencing drums, baselines + melodies
• sampling, looping and chopping
• producing a Modbap beat
• constructing a performance patch
• performing a live beat set

 Consultation

• designing a eurorack modular synthesizer to fit your specific needs
• basic  1 row eurorack modular  for beginners
• small 6u system for performances
• purchasing gear online or in person if you're in the Los Angeles area
